Volunteer Opportunity: Summer Archeological Dig
Dear History Students,
The Department of Archeology is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our annual summer dig at the Blackwood River Valley site. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on field experience. The dig will run from August 5th to August 16th.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with excavation, artifact cleaning, and site mapping. No prior experience is necessary. However, all volunteers must commit to a minimum of three full days during the two-week period. This is a physically demanding activity, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
If you are interested, please contact me directly for an application form. Spaces are limited.
Regards,
Dr. Alistair Evans
