Important News About Our Community Recycling Program
Dear Springfield Resident,
We are excited to announce an expansion of our town's recycling program, beginning on June 1st. In our effort to reduce waste, we will now be accepting glass bottles and jars in your curbside recycling bins.
Please note that your pickup schedule will also change. Recycling will now be collected every other Wednesday. Your first pickup under the new schedule will be Wednesday, June 5th. We ask that you please rinse all containers before recycling.
A detailed calendar and a full list of accepted materials will arrive by mail next week.
Sincerely,
The Springfield Department of Public Works
