Dear Students,

I am writing to announce a special guest lecture by renowned historian Dr. Evelyn Reed on the topic of "Trade and Culture along the ancient Silk Road." This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your understanding of the material we have covered in our World History survey course.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, September 27th, at 4:00 PM in the main auditorium of the liberal arts building, Johnston Hall. Following the one-hour presentation, there will be a brief Q&A session where you can engage directly with Dr. Reed.

Attendance is highly recommended as the content will be relevant to your upcoming midterm examination. Please be sure to arrive a few minutes early to secure a seat.
