To all residents,

This is a public service announcement from the Department of Transportation. The Harrison River Bridge will be closed to all traffic for a full day on Saturday, April 30th, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

This temporary closure is necessary for our engineering crews to conduct the annual structural integrity inspection, which ensures the bridge remains safe for public use. We have scheduled this for a weekend to minimize disruption to weekday commuter traffic.

All drivers will need to use an alternate route during this time. The recommended detour is the Jefferson Avenue crossing, which is located approximately 3 miles north of the Harrison River Bridge. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
