Advocates claim this model improves employee well-being and productivity by providing a three-day weekend for rest and personal activities. However, critics are concerned that longer workdays could lead to increased stress and burnout. Do you think the four-day workweek is a positive and sustainable change for most businesses?

Student response 1: I believe the four-day workweek is a fantastic idea because it offers a better work-life balance. That extra day off gives people more time for family, hobbies, and appointments, which can significantly reduce stress and increase job satisfaction. Consequently, happier employees are often more productive during their working hours.

For jobs that require constant customer availability, being closed for an extra day could hurt the business.
