Planning a large gathering in one of our beautiful parks? For groups of 25 or more, a picnic permit is required to reserve a designated area. This ensures that a space with tables and grills is available for your event. Permits are necessary for events held at Maple Grove Park and Lakeside Meadows. To apply, you must first create an account on the City Services portal online. Once logged in, navigate to the "Parks and Recreation" section and complete the "Picnic Area Reservation" form. Please submit your application at least 14 days before your event date to allow for processing. A small administrative fee applies. The permit, once approved, will be emailed to you. Be sure to have a copy with you on the day.
