Dear University Community,

This email is to inform you of an important update to our borrowing policies. Effective October 1st, we are launching a trial program that allows for the checkout of materials from our Rare Books Collection. Previously, these items were available for in-library use only.

Under the new policy, items from this collection can be borrowed for a maximum period of 7 days. Due to the fragile and valuable nature of these materials, each loan requires special permission from the head librarian, Ms. Caldwell.

We believe this change will greatly enhance research opportunities for our students and faculty. Please visit the main circulation desk if you have any questions.
