A Historical Society Discussion on Preserving History

Interviewer: To start, do you think it is important for young people to learn about the history of their local town or city?
Interviewer: Should we preserve old buildings exactly as they were, or is it better to modernize them for new uses? Please explain your view.
Interviewer: Many historical documents and photographs are deteriorating. Suggest two methods that could be used to preserve them for future generations.
Interviewer: How might digitizing historical archives positively increase public access but also negatively raise concerns about the security and authenticity of the records?
