Local Food Culture Study

An interviewer will ask you questions. Answer the questions and be sure to say as much as you can in the time allowed.

No time for preparation will be provided.

You are taking part in a local study about food culture. A researcher is going to ask you some questions about your eating habits.
Interviewer: Do you enjoy trying new foods from different cultures, or do you prefer familiar dishes? Why?
Interviewer: Is it more important for a restaurant to offer authentic food or to create new, modern versions of classic dishes? Why?
Interviewer: Many traditional recipes are being forgotten. What are two ways a community can work to preserve its local food heritage?
Interviewer: How might global food chains positively affect consumer choice but negatively affect small, family-owned local restaurants? Give an example for both.
