You are being interviewed for an oral history project about the importance of preserving the past. Please answer the questions.
Interviewer: Do you think it is important for people to learn about the history of their own family? Why?
Interviewer: Is it more valuable to learn history from books and documents or from historical films and documentaries? Explain which method you find more effective.
Interviewer: Some historical monuments and statues have become controversial in recent years. What are two different approaches a city could take to deal with these monuments?
Interviewer: In the future, with digital records and archives, how might our ability to accurately understand the past be positively and negatively affected? Give an example for each.
