You are being interviewed for an article about the importance of historical preservation. The interviewer will ask for your perspective.
Interviewer: Hello. First, do you think it is important for governments to spend money on preserving old buildings? Why or why not?
Interviewer: Consider a historic but decaying building in a city center. Is it better to restore it or to build a modern, more useful building in its place?
Interviewer: That's insightful. Preserving historical sites is very expensive. What are two creative ways that communities could raise money to protect their local history?
Interviewer: Lastly, how might new technologies like virtual reality tours positively and negatively change the way people experience historical sites in the future? Provide one example for each.
