This email is to inform you of an important update to our community garden's composting policy, which will take effect on July 1. To maintain the quality of our compost and avoid pests, we are implementing stricter guidelines on what can be deposited in the community bins.

From the effective date, please do not add any meat, dairy, or oily food products to the compost. These items attract rodents and do not break down properly. We have also moved the main compost bin to a new, more accessible location next to the tool shed. Your cooperation is essential for the health of our shared garden.
