Dear Parents/Guardians,

This email contains important information about the mandatory 8th-grade geography field trip to the Blackwater Canyon Geological Site on Tuesday, May 21st. This trip is a key part of our curriculum on rock formations and erosion.

The bus will depart from the school's main entrance promptly at 8:30 AM and will return by 3:00 PM. Students need to bring their own packed lunch and a reusable water bottle for the day. Please also ensure they wear comfortable walking shoes and are prepared for the weather.

A signed permission slip is required for your child to attend. Please return the slip to me no later than Wednesday, May 15th. This is a fantastic learning opportunity, and we are very excited about the trip.
